About

“Get everybody on board for workplace health.”

Who we are

Integral Workplace Health is a pioneer in bringing psychological health and safety to the workplace. We are equally passionate about supporting the human side of organizational health as we are about the business benefits.

We believe that the workplace is an important part of peoples lives and that people want to be productively involved at work. The workplace has always been more than just a place to earn a living. It is also about relationships, community, purpose, mastery and the opportunity for growth and recognition. We take a systems focus to ensure buy in and collaboration at all levels of the organization and integral workplace well being for all employees.

We base our work on research and we are committed to make our work culturally and industry relevant. For this reason we have chosen the description provided by the Canadian Occupational Standard for Psychological Health and Safety as our guide for the ideal nature of a psychologically safe system of work. While it does not impose requirements this framework is comprehensive and flexible enough to apply in multiple countries and different industries.

We want to keep it simple and apply a step by step management system that makes strengthening workplace health and wellbeing doable and financially viable.

Our services can be consultation only or include hands on support working through the steps: gathering insight, planning, implementation and long term follow through of psychological health and safety strategies.

Integral Workplace Health has a wide network of like-minded international contacts to support a multinational workforce with culturally appropriate and relevant organizational wellbeing in different country contexts.

Why choose Integral Workplace Health?

We are thought leaders who are passionate about workplace health and wellbeing.

The focus on workplace impact on employee health and wellbeing is the coming wave in duty to care and health care cost reduction.  We are passionate about the value of having a health promoting workplace, both for the employer and the employees.

We put the customer in charge.

Each customer is unique and deserves more than a generic cookie cutter solution. As the customer you are in charge. You decide on priorities, next steps and the pace of at which you can and want to proceed towards implementing your psychological health and safety strategy. We believe in empowering customers to continue what they have started internally without being dependent long term on outside experts.

Our approach is holistic and simple.

We bring all levels of the organization together to take responsibility for health and wellbeing of the people and the business. Our management system has simple steps: commitment, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement feedback.

Keep It Simple

Organizations often have data with indicators of the state of psychological health and safety within their organization. Using information from pre-established employee surveys, insurance data and absenteeism data we can help you gain insight into the unique root causes underlying the data. We will conduct a systemic review and can facilitate further investigation into root causes as needed. Ultimately a solution that fits the problem, will save you time and money.

While two companies may have the same engagement scores, the factors that affect that score can be hugely different. Integral Workplace Health will help you interpret the scores for your organization and match your response strategy to the underlying cause. Is the score a reflection of workplace culture and management style or maybe it reflects the nature and distribution of the work itself? Perhaps recent organizational changes have temporarily affected engagement scores? Whatever the underlying cause, each requires a different approach to strengthening low engagement or leveraging high engagement for the future. We are there to help you identify and implement the most effective and efficient response strategy.
